The Enchanter is a class dedicated to mind control and enchantment. An Enchanter can cause her enemies to freeze in their tracks, forget their friends, and run away in fear. An Enchanter can slow the attacks of her enemies and speed the attacks of her friends. An Enchanter can charm some of the most powerful creatures to serve her for a time.
The Enchanter is unmatched at the ability to handle attacks by large groups of creatures. A well discplined group can fight five enemies as easily as they fight one with a skilled enchanter. A charmed monster is more powerful than any player in the game, but at some risk to the safety of the Enchanter.
By herself, an Enchanter can produce very little damage. Her weak sword pet is uncontrollable and unpredictable.
An Enchanter can shine in a group more than almost any other class. Your ability to control crowds will make you a valuable member of any dungeon exploring group. Your melee companions will love you for your haste spells, and your caster companions will love you for the increased mana regeneration you bring. If you are prepared for the risks, charming an enemy will make you a force to be reckoned with.
