Summary Description

The Bard is the most unique class in the game of Everquest. Bards have a variety of spell-like songs that can assist his group or injure his enemies. In addition, Bards can wear plate mail armor and are moderately proficient in the use of weaponry.

Strengths

A Bard's strength is his versitility and creativity. The addition of a bard to a group greatly increases the group's ability to combat their enemies. A skillful Bard is a powerful opponent.

Weaknesses

Despite the fact that a Bard wears platemail and carries two weapons, they are not able to confront their enemies directly. A Bard will not survive melee combat for long.

Group Role

As a Bard, you are expected to do everything. Depending on the situation, you will speed up your party's attacks, while slowing the attacks of your enemies. You will heal the group, and assist the caster's in regenerating mana. You will use your music to soothe your enemies or even turn them against their friends. Your presence will be greatly noticed by your teammates.
