Someone had asked for a few sample UI's that work with EQ Mac, and I realized I'd never posted my UI here.

It can be found at EQInterface Here.

I know that Ut found a slight bug with the containers (having more than 10 container windows open at once will cause all further containers to appear empty), but since he hasn't told me how to correct it yet :P it's something you may have to live with.

:P

I did tell joo. Joo just forgot.

Remove the file named EQUI_Container.xml from Fut's folder and everything will be all right with the world. Fut's containers gave the ability to do quick swapping of some gear without having your inventory window open. However, the bug became too annoying when you were looking thru your bank and wanted all your containers open. I love everything else about it. It's almost lag free.

Ok, I have been using Futoty's UI for close to 2 years now and never really ever complained about lag. Today, I decided to break down and try to use the /viewport command to see how much of a difference there is.

O M G!

I have a 23" cinema display that is running 1920 x 1200 so I set my viewport to /viewport 150 0 1600 950 which gave me something that looks like this...

I ran through Shar Vahl and Hollowshade Moor with very little lag, if any! It was pretty nice to see an improvement even on something I didnt think could be improved. The Target window is new. I complained to Deths about not being able to see the full name of some of the mobs that we kill these days, so he made me a new window that will display just about any mob's name. Everything else is Futoty's Basic TK UI.

/bump

I mentioned this in Alliance last night.

Note the mention about the open container bug and how to fix. I also need to get a new screenshot up so you can see how I have things set up using the viewport command. You can either get the UI files from eqinterface.com under the Mac section, or I can send the corrected files with the wider Target window to you via email or through iChat. Just PM me if you want to give it a try.

Do you happen to know what code it is that messes up? I have a modified container that I like, but even removing the code for the inventory slot swap does not fix this.
