Totally enjoyed playing around with Maktub's Po2 code, cleanest UI I have ever seen and that doesn't even get into the increases in performance. Changes here are a combination of personal preference and raiding from a caster perspective.

Changes from Po2:

General Changes
-Updated to Power of Two 1.1 base and compatibility
-Added Infinniti style buttons

Target Window
-Added Target HP
-Added Spell Casting Gauge
-Added Optional Target Windows that include Timers

Player Window
-Added Player Name
-Added Current/Max HP
-Added HP percentage
-Added Mana percentage
-Removed energy/fatique gauge
-Added an optional Player window that eliminates the Target window and adds many stats.

Hotbutton Window
-Added Current XP (percentage)
-Added Current AAXP (percentage)
-Added 15 Inv Slots (very easy to change)

Social Window
{change to default Po2 buttons have me putting off some changes here}

Group Window
-Added Group Members HP percentage
-Added optional Group Window with FKey prompts

Compass Window
-Added Arista style compass with +-0 notations
-Added Arista 1 hour timer
{Compass mod adds one graphics file, but eliminates the need for one Po2 graphics file, so no additional graphics space. If you don't want the timer (or the timer animations don't work well on your hardware) simply copying the original Po2 compass xml file will restore, making the compass window less deep. No need to move the graphics files, only the ones needed are used}

Buff Window
-Changed to fixed sized vertical. Window has a frame and can easily be moved.
-Stole Ravenwings buff # ideas, making it easy to see buff count

Chat Window(s)
-Changed window template to a non-title template
-Windows are still resizeable

SpellBook
-Basically liked Bijaz's Aya style layout

I like the compact spell book - you could change the Done button from A_Btn... to A_ThinBtn... and shave 16px off it and it still would look great.

What is the window to the very lower left edge? It looks cropped...

Screenshot is cropped, there is another chat window to the left, setup is at 1600x1200. Didn't want a massive image and did want some detail visible.

Wizman,

I wanted to ask you about the hot button 15 slots inventory addition. I have never played with a UI with this function. Are the items shown in those slots located inside bags and this is just a short cut where you don't have to first open a bag to the swap it out into you hot botton slot for a clicky?

What I would love and maybe its what you show in this hot botton window is the ability to have some inventory "slots" from the standard inventory page available for switching gear without having to open up a bag window or the inventory window. Perhaps this is not possible because maybe its the way the game works that you must have the inventory window open (whatever mod it may be) to move gear in and out of it. In short looking to be able to actually swap out gear during fights without open windows and only moving the mouse a square or two.

Basic questions I know, hope the questions make some sense to you. Looks great I'm going to try it out and perhaps I'll answer my own questions. Nice work.

**Edit** Just found some great info in the readme about just this so I'm checking it out.

Echo-

The EQType definitions in the readme are in fact a subset of what's available. It is possible to define the contents of a bag slot, but this UI wasn't really designed to take advantage of that. Get used to what is in the readme, I'll post some options in the following weeks that do make use of that functionality.

Another optional install:

Had some requests for more stats, result is a merging of the Target window to the Player window. The new optional Player window is the same size as the older Target and Player stacked.

Will update the link on second post.

I really liked your chat window and buff window so I stole them and had them working with the default poweroftwo UI. Since the update to 1.01 I can no longer do this, it gives me an error and can't load the UI and it reverts to default. Any suggestions?

I'm working out the merges with the changes now, shouldn't be too long.

One of the issues is the crashing issue noted in Maktub's thread, seems to only hit specific machines etc. What you are experiencing is WizMod elements setup one way, with the new Po2 setup another. Relatively quick fix expected.

Edit:

Either go back to the Po2 Windows on the new version, or go complete WizMod, they're both Po2 at the root.

Remember, folks - crashes like these usually write something useful into the UIErrors.txt file which can help track down the issue.

Look in user / Library / Application Support / Everquest / Logs / UIErrors.txt

It's most likely where I added elements to certain windows, then the procedure for changing that you posted would be incomplete for some of my elements. Could you repost or PM the instructions, I think I can clear this up fairly quickly.
