Dead Halfling Society is currently recruiting all classes/levels. If you are interested in the idea of a progression guild, you can make a post on our Forums. Should you choose to make a post, our officers will get back to you via PMs or replies to the thread. Or, you can look for our officers in game. Our officers are Ailenya, Orihime, Nylin, and Vvadrin being our Guild Leader.

As some of you know, we are a progression guild working towards unlocking Kunark at the moment. If you're new to the server, and have not heard about us yet, you can read our charter/rules/recruitment process at http://www.dhsguild.org. Our common goal is to play Everquest in the order of expansions as they were released. This game isn't going anywhere, so there is no need to hop right in and go straight to the end.

So far we've accomplished some pretty cool things with what we limit ourselves to. We've done a complete Plane of Fear clearing, minus Golems, Draco, and CT. We've done a complete Plane of Hate clear, minus 2nd floor and Maestro. We've also killed Nagafen and are close to killing Vox. On our first attempt, we got her down to 18%. Very close to fleeing none the less.

Add druid to the class list also and I'm surprised we have no shammy. It's a great class yet they're all hiding.

As mentioned by Torpe and Orihime, the Dead Halfling Society is currently recruiting. Here's a little bit more information..

Our raid times are currently Thursdays 10pm Eastern, Saturdays Noon Eastern, and Sundays 5pm Eastern. We do progression raids on Thursdays and Sundays, and slip a PoF raid on Satudays. Progression right now is Lady Vox and Lord Nagafen. We've already downed Nagafen once, so just once more and two more Vox runs and we'll move on to Kunark for epics which would lead us to planes for bigger mobs as well as some content raid targets such as Trak and VS.

We seek the thrill of doing more with less - downing content mobs with appropriate gears and spells. We see that PoK travel is small price to pay for the enjoyment and excitement of the game that we get from progression - Having the same "F*Ck yea!!!!!!!" moment as Temerity did with downing Fenin Ro or RZtW when we killed Nagafen and Phinny. We like to play without depending on buffs like KEI/Pot9/HoV/7, because we can do without it to down classic targets that hit for 250 max - "Everquest is a game of skill" (/quote Gnostica) and this is what we are doing.

In DHS, we progress at our own pace without neglecting RL. I have been in guilds where we took a week off from work and RL to camp infront of computers when GoD and OoW was first released on PC side where 85% of the guild would just grind to be ahead of progression. In DHS, we do not have to do this to progress. This is not to say that we take progression lightly, but right now - we need a few more key classes to gain somemore momentum.

We are looking for ALL classes - more attention to melee DPS and Shamans. Whatever it is, DHS is a nice place to be in and shouldn't be missed out on.
