I recently created Ascendancy with hopes of raiding in the future. Myself and a few friends, whom have been trickling onto Al'Kabor, are from the guild Realm of Insanity during both the Stromm and the Combine days. We do realize that RoI has had a controversial reputation from the last progression server due to the nature of being overcrowded, and us advancing through the progression more quickly than some people wished.

While many of us are hardcore raiders, we are enjoying the unique style on Al'Kabor and do not intend to disrupt the servers culture. However, we would eventually like to reach Elemental Planes and further, so our expectations will be to do so. Yes, it may still be early to mention raiding, but it is what we are aiming to accomplish.

It kinda reminds me of the scene in Independence Day where all the people were looking up in the sky and welcoming the visitors.....


Excuse my skepticism, but after having been trampled on by members(specifically officers and guild leader) of ROI countless times on the Combine I can assure you that it was not a matter of the server being overcrowded unless you think that having anybody besides your guild on the server is overcrowding.

I will still give any ex-ROI people the benefit of doubt for the time being since I did maintain friends within ROI even when the guild was at its worst behavior.

Another thing that works in your favor is there is no MacroQuest program for this sever. Maybe you guys didn't use MQ, but then you would be the exception and not the norm.
