Hello ,

My main it Tabes, level 34 Necromancer, and I have been perusing the guild sites for some time now. Many of you I have spoken to in-game relating my concern regarding guild events and my hours of playing.

I just want to clarify something: Are the majority of the times for the guild events listed in the Calendar section EST ? From what I have gathered this seems to be the case but I just wanted to post this question and make sure if this was a uniform consensus among the guild sites or not.

My ability to be involved with guild events is obviously a big concern besides the the usual criteria and though I know there are always weekend events that I may attend I hope to find a guild that may offer times in the evenings during the week that I might possibly make.

Unfortunately this has limited allot of my involvement in the past. I usually can't start playing till 8 to 10 p.m. PST during weeknights. I work a sort of swing shift schedule but can make my own hours to some degree.

But knowing there is a guild that offers this option on a semi-regular basis would certainly influence my decision. I don't mind having to sacrifice some weekends for this but I prefer it to not be my only option- if, at all possible.

Thanks for your time and suggestions, Delerious :?

I can only speak for Destiny, but all our events are listed on our Calander. If you where to go to destiny.guildportal.com you would see our calendar.

It is possible that you will not see any events listed since the access you will have is not sufficient, unless we are hosting an open raid.

That said, we have a spread of players from around the world, so along with our weekly saturday raid, we try and schedule events for all our guildies accross all time zones during the week. Easier said than done, but we try.

I am sure that that philosphy is the same for other guilds.[/url]

I think that most guild calendars try to show the appropriate time depending on your time zone. Guildportal's calendars do that, based on the time zone in your preferences, but GP is also a piece of ****, and I know that we constantly had problems with the calendar times back when we used them.

Sorry but it has been a long time since I have done any of this guild stuff - lol . I also talked with Placer and then it dawned on me that I had yet to even create a Guild Portal account. I have since then done so and now I can see the guild event times properly.

Thanks for your time and comments, Tabes Crux.
