Hey all!

I am interested in a UI that is very minimal, and runs very quickly. I need to run my accounts at very low settings in order to 3 box on my lap top, and I was wondering if there is a UI out there that will help.

Thanks for the input!

Anything poweroftwo related is good, just remember that minimal doesn't have to mean lack of color/detail/functionality/etc.

A better way to squeeze more out of your laptop is to work in 16bit color, set both your computer and the two settings in the ini file to 16 bit and you'll be amazed how much extra 'ooomph' you can get.

Wizman,

I looked at my display settings, but I could not find where to set my computer to only display 16 bit color. I changed both of the settings in the eqclient.ini. Would this make any difference on it's own, or should they both be set like that?

Yea, some of the newer Macs are 32 bit only, my MBP is like that.

I run my MBP EQMac client in 16bit (the two changes) and notice some improvement, it may be more of a memory savings than anything, but yes it should help some.
