I want to port my UI over to Mac, but need a copy of the current (default) Mac UI. Once I have that I can port my UI over fairly easily for use on Mac.

If you are interested in seeing it:
http://www.eqinterface.com/downloads/pr ... hp?id=2801

If someone could zip/sit/sitx/tar/rar/gz/whatever the current default mac ui and mail it to me Id be thankful :)

The stat sheet you saw ... thats the player window, you can pop it up and down at will without having to worry about the inventory loading up, it's abit faster on raids to check stats and such :)

I got a copy of the default UI now, so can get to work on modding it over today.

Oh and by the way ... My UI has a higher frame rate than the default UI on PC. Hopefully I can also duplicate that for Mac :)

If anyone has any requests, post em here foor me and I will see what I can do for yah.

I've done a number of PC to Mac UI conversions. Send me a PM here if you run into trouble.

The big differences between PC and Mac UIs I have noticed are:
1) Re-save all of your .tga image files on a Mac, using a Mac image editing application. The PC versions of .tga files aren't loaded correctly by the EQMac app.
2) Remove references to: shared bank slots, charm inventory slots, facepick and tinting windows.
3) Remove the UI files for: short duration (song) buff, map, journal, storyline and guildinfo windows.
4) Remove references for the "Pet Stand" command and Pet buffs sections in the Pet window.
5) Remove the "Show Tips" command in the Help window.

There are several more differences that I have run into, but these just happen to be the ones that I have written down...

Remove any references to the LFG button.

Ok totally untested, but give it a shot.

If you have any problems please e-mail me your EQUI_errors.txt from the EQ main folder, or herever logs are stored on mac version :)

ftp://ftp.tweek.org/harlequin_mac.sit

Enjoy and let me know how it works please :)

I've been using this since you posted the link and I must say that it does work nicely.

However.....

There doesn't seem to be a working breath gauge in the UI. The files seem to be there, but no gauge appears. It became problematic once I replaced my Lodi shield. I have now drowned (or almost drowned) a couple times in CS and died once in The Grey when I spent some time buffing peeps running back from Ssra. Yeah....it was my bad for forgetting, but if the gauge had popped up I would have seen it and grabbed the shield out of my inv.

Is there any way you can take a look at it?
Thanks!

You might try removing the file "EQUI_BreathWindow.xml" from the "harlequin_mac" folder and see if that brings the breath window back until a permanent fix is found.

Just a guess.....

Thanks to Utdaan for noticing this and to Sindalia for the suggestion. I tried removing EQUI_BreathWindow.xml from the harlequin_mac UI folder and the breath window still did not appear.

I then copied the EQUI_BreathWindow.xml from the Sars UI and replaced the same file in the harlequin_mac UI folder. This did work. I suspect that other custom UIs that the file would work as well.

A lot of custom UIs use the breath window's xml file to hide the normal breath gauge so that they can build it into other windows, like the player window.

When all else fails, copy the Default ui's breath window. It works universally.

Did just that (replaced the file with a copy from the default UI) and I have a working breath buff bar. Thanks Clay!
