As soon as Hobart has the clients and SOE has the new website ready, I'll be archiving this thread since it will become obsolete.

There will be a new sticky with both the Intel and PPC (new client) system requirements.

Does this mean I might not have to go out and find an Intel Mac?

Since that post was made, there have been changes in how SOE is approaching things. It's now an unknown if Hobart will be able to save the PPC client.

Thank you for the information.

Sure glad I bought a G5.....

Well my dreams of joining you all might be dead. Now I need to sell this G5, and I can't justify spending anywhere near $150.00 on Mac hardware when I can buy 100 times the power in a PC for $199.

Time will tell, I think you guys have a great thing going and I would like to be part of it....

I'm sorry that you did not read the whole thread, and that you went ahead and bought a machine before asking, but you have to admit that it's probably a good policy to check before buying a ten-year old machine (Yes, G5s came out in 2003)...

Nik, I didn't archive the thread because I don't seem to have permissions to move a thread into Archives.

Can you move this over and out of view?

Thanks!
