I never heard of any of those three guilds that have their own section on the forum. Who are they and why are they still on the forum index after all these years?

No idea, I have been on eq Mac and I have never heard of any of them.

The guilds are long gone, but part of the server history, and presumably kept for posterity.

Every now and then one of those older members pops in and chats a bit on those forums. FPoV was a roleplaying guild, the first of it's kind on our server. Shortbread Army initially was all short races. Experimental 6 were 6 alts only xping together and only using the gear they got while xping/questing together.
