Just wanted to get a show of hands who's interested in a return to the Asian raids.

I'm going to have a lot more play time now so i'm pretty keen to get this running again. I know a few of the regs are not around now but i'm hoping we can bring this back.

Post here and let me know if you might be interested.

Our goals/targets for this raiding time slot are...
1. Dozekar raids for tear drops and armour quests.
2. BoT Ornate armour, and tower lords.
3. Rhags 1 & 2, Zlandi, Trak, RC, the burrower, Vindi, VD
4. Help with epic mobs.
5. Working towards Veeshan's Peak raids.

A raid point system will be used for loot distribution.
1 point for turning up on time.
1 point for participating.
1 point for staying to the end.
If you want at item the raider who bids with the highest number of raid points receives the item and their points return to 0. If no raider wants to use their raid points, then the /ran 1 100 system will be used and a surcharge of 2 raid points will be deducted for any raid item looted.

Looking forward to seeing both old and new players.

Well i'm back and playing most nights. Another guildy Sycamore is playing these hours too. Always up for some grinding or hitting some targets, give us a shout.
If we can get some more to commit we might be able to get this going.

Actually, I have been thinking that we should stage a come back. Thanks for posting, Darc! They were fun evenings. Hopefully entice Brac back too!

I'd be happy with keeping the same day and time, and raid point system but we can always make changes. (I am available Mondays, Thursdays. Wed evening is the sever reset day. I could stretch to a Sunday evening.)

Perhaps we could assign some roles?
Raid organizer - keeps track of attendees and raid points, updates raid points table and posts announcements.
Raid leader - forms the raid and gives the orders.
Loot distributor(s) - Someone to take tells/bids on items, and organizing rolling etc.

Welcome back old mate!

I'm pretty flexible on which days and i'm more than happy to take one or 2 of those roles. I'll be able to do some scouting before the raid starts too.

Friday and Saturday are show stoppers for me as I assume it is for most folks. I agree Wednesday isn't good due to being the server reset day. So I guess we have it narrowed down to Tuesday and Thursday? To build off of Aderon's idea how about throwing in an extended session on Sundays? I can't make it this Tuesday due to getting some R&R in the Philippines but I can make it Thursday if peeps want to get something going.

Not sure if I can make it earlier than 19:00 as I am usually out and about during the day on Sunday.

Otherwise Tuesday or Thursday. (From end of September I do have an evening class to attend for 7 weeks on Tuesdays.)

Let's pick a day and run with it and see how it goes.

I was thinking the same thing actually, its probably more encouraging that way. Having a point system may put people off raiding further down the track once a lot of points have built up with the regulars. Maybe just enforce the rule that you can only loot something once per raid regardless on how many boxers you are running or how many mobs we kill, unless of course something is going to rot.
