Hey folks,

I was digging around some of my older EQ files and dug up something that I found quite amusing. I thought that I'd pass it along.

Pick the answer that best suits your personality. The puller comes back to camp with eight mobs. What do you do?

Ranger: You were the puller.
Cleric: Heal the dead puller, get swarmed, and die.
Paladin: Lay hands on the dead cleric, get swarmed, and die.
Warrior: Hit the taunt button, then watch the mobs zip by you to kill the cleric.
Shadow Knight: Cast Feign Death, fall to the ground, and die.
Monk: Feign death.
Bard: Type /g Crap! 1 1 1 2 2 2 3 3 3, get swarmed, and die.
Shaman: Slow one mob, then try to call off the pet until you die.
Druid: Ask the group if you should evacuate, then die when asking a second time.
Wizard: Tell the group that you’re running back to camp, because you gated as soon as the pull was in sight.
Enchanter: Cast AoE mezz and get killed by the seven that resisted it.
Magician: Send in the pet and go AFK for a cup of coffee.
Necromancer: Send in the pet and disband from the group to get the solo experience.
Beastlord: Send in the pet and tank the other seven.
Rogue: Sneak/hide, watch everyone die one by one, then ask for consent.

Ravenwing... as in the same Ravenwing from Progression Server that used to always group with Herculeez?

then someone else started up a toon named Ravenwing on combine...

Yeah, I was the latter Ravenwing on Combine, where I played very briefly. I rolled an enchanter by the name to play in a classic-era progression guild called Forgotten Travelers for a few months last summer. Was fun.

For the first month or so I got multiple tells daily from people wanting to know if I was the ROI BL. I might not have used the name, had I known the confusion it would cause, but it was the name of my original chanter on Bristlebane (rolled, gosh, more than 10 years ago now!) and I'm rather fond of it.

Ahhh gotcha. Well... the ROI Ravenwing was a close friend of mine through EQ and we have lost contact since I moved out of the prog server. Last I heard she was waiting on EQclassic.org to open up in order to play again.

As of right now I'm not playing but I will let you know when I decide to open my combo up again =)

Wow, I can't believe they got EQclassic up and running again. I thought SoE shut them down. I hope they get the server launched this time.

we are looking at another year or two. Maybe more. But I'll be playing when it opens!

EQMac does the job until then.
