Wow, this one is really old. My first screenie in Norrath. Those guild tags are long gone...Looks like I was lagging a bit too. I swear I saw Ragambok in the Nexus the other day!

100 plat to the first person who can name the zone these intrepid explorers are heading into! This turned into one of the best group outings I'd have in my early days.

Holy crap, what a death toll! This must have been Kelorek`Dar's finest hour. Saen's corpse is somewhere in the water behind the camera...he was fleeing in terror (KD doesn't even cast fear!)

Cool screenshots, Stamm! Kind of surreal to see Al'Kabor's early days from an ex-PC player's perspective: there's some serious cognitive dissonance involved in seeing the mino axe/SBS combo (ooooold EQ!) paired with the revamped model (Luclin) and newbie quest armor (PoP) in that second screenshot. I think a large part of my affection for this game comes from memories of the early days when this big virtual world was new and strange and full of people who weren't MMORPG veterans with a couple boxed toons in tow and a second computer open to Allakhazam's or EQAtlas. Makes me wonder what Al'Kabor's early days were like, and kind of wish I'd been around to see for myself

I find I can get lost for hours when I'm doing housecleaning on my computers looking at old EQ logs and screenshots. The best of those are the accidentals ~ (+) used to be my attack key and I'd inadvertently hit (-)

Those trips down memory lane always bring a smile and a bit of melancholy for the old days.

Thanks for those Stamm. I still remember the first time we camped the sewers in CT, and that KD battle was the very first time I tanked a dragon I was so nervous I let it push me half way up the cliff

Had to use Safari to view those images, not sure what's up with FF.

You may think about compressing those images.... It's not fun going to a page and having to load ~10megs of images.

Ha ha I was wearing my own Dorf culteral armour and had bought the weighty polearm for about 1k platt i am guessing. I remember that battle royal, i rolled 100 to win a Ring of the depths, UBER loot for me then, by far the best in the guild, i still wear it now!
