Now recruiting raiders for an Asian time zone open raid, hosted by Pathfinders of Al’Kabor. Ideally we would like to build up a regular and committed group of raiders to help fulfill our raid goals. A raid point system will be used for loot distribution.

Time: Every Tuesday evening,
6pm Beijing
7pm Tokyo
8pm Brisbane
10am London
2am LA
5am NY

Meeting place: Jera the Soul Binder in PoK.

Goals/Targets:
1. Provide a raiding time for players in Asian times zones. (A low server population time zone.) Though anyone is welcome to attend.
2. Aim for Dozekar raids (tear drops) and other ToV armour quests.
3. BoT ornate armour.
4. Help other raid members with epic quest mobs.
5. Work on VP and ST keys. (Zlandi & Trak raids)
6. Other targets include, Rhag 1 & 2, RC, Vindi, Doomshade, the burrower etc.
7. XP grouping on low turn out evenings.

Loot
In order to build a committed raiding team, a raid point system will be employed for loot distribution. 1 point for turning up on time, 1 point for participating, and 1 point for staying until the end. Points will be recorded on the Pathfinder’s open forums website. Raiders can use points to bid for loot items they want. If no raider wishes to use their points, then the roll system will be used.
If you are interested or have any questions, please visit this thread on the Pathfinders forum for more discussion.

Super Start to Asian Tuesdays!

In 3 hours with 1.5 groups we got through The Va'Dyn, FOUR BoT Mini-Bosses and a Tower Lord attempt!

Va'Dyn dropped...
1. Shield of Infused Power - Darcreign
2. Shaderock Crown - Aderon
3. Mage Spell

Four BoT Minis dropped...
1. GRW... just one.

Very little raid mobs were up to begin with. No RC, no Rhag1, no AC worm, no dragons at all. But we manage to find something and we had fun. Thanks to all who came. Hope to see a few more in the future. Oh and pass the word around!

Please check out the thread here to check your raid points and for further discussion.

Another flawless outing for the 2nd of Feb.

Bot minis to start the night out (bit low on peeps to start off)

Hreidar - Spec, Hammer of the Wind (Grats Timetodie!)
Laef - Spec
Gaukr - nada

Then managed to gather enough peeps to take out Rumblecrush.
Grand Shield of Faith - Grats Miho!
Tunic of Kinship - Grats Bracamonte's alt

Venril Sathir next for an epic kill. Sadly not what we were after but good quick and fun kill anyway.
Donal's Leggings of Mourning
Lycanthropic Staff

Good work all, had a lot of fun and looking forward to next week.

Aderon may i suggest a xanamech attempt one week when we have good numbers. I think i may have all the bits to trigger the event - may be missing one which i will get.

Thanks for the write up, Darcreign. We did have another good evening. Check the Pathfinder website by clicking this link to check on your raid points total.
http://www.guildportal.com/Guild.aspx?G ... 1#forumEnd

I am trying to hammer out a fair looting system for us and have come up with a few changes after talking to a couple of people. Please read and comment.

Looting Procedures

1. Firstly, raiders will be asked if they want to use their raid points to bid for an item. (Bidding for your alts is allowed as raid points are only given to players, not their boxes.) The person who bids the most raid points wins the item. If two or more players bid the same amount, the item will be rolled between them. A last call will be made on the item before there is a decision.

2. If there are no raiders who wish to use raid points, then the items will be opened up to interested parties (including your alts) and then rolled for. The raider who wins the roll will be charged 1 raid point for looting the item for themselves and 2 points for looting for their alt. However, please consider giving way for mains first, before you bid for your alt. A last call will be made on the item before there is a decision.

Looting Notes

1. We aim to provide fair looting rules for everyone but no system is perfect.

2. Even if you are a first time raider, you will earn up to 2 raid points on your first attendance. 1 point for turning up on time and 1 point for participating, so when the first mob does down a first time raider could have 2 raid points to use.

3. The raid point system is design to encourage participation and reward raiders who make the effort.

4. Keep in mind that some mobs will be farmed, so even if you don’t win an item you wanted, you will get it eventually.

5. Raid loot will be discussed in /rs to keep things clear and transparent. Speak up if you think something is unfair. Also, it is your responsibility to keep and eye on what loot is being called.

6. Using you raid points to bid for alts is allowed. If you choose to use raid points for your alt, you may not have enough points to bid for an item for yourself at a later time. The choice is yours.

Nice update Aderon, i think that's totally fair considering our circumstances with many people boxing.

Would you be able to show the DKP points on this forum too?
