In my sig is Nerada's magelo. Can you guys offer some advice on upgrades? Either quests I can do, or items to be on the look out for?

You've got most of the cheap/commonish items.

Earring of Solstice Quest is a solid earring with 1 FT + nice stats, costs around 5-6k to bazaar all the pieces though.
Coterie General Cape is pretty common to find in bazaar, however its somewhat of a side-grade to you. Just gaining around 40HP at a loss of 2AC/4Wis

As far as quests go... Perhaps Circlet of Falinkan. It has solid stats + Affliction Haste 3 (to speed up your DoTs). You would need a group to do it though.


Honestly the single most important items you can get yourself in baz are Ceramic Skull of Decay and Ceramic Gavel of Justice. Which give you DoT Haste and DoT Mana Pres respectively.

They are pretty expensive however I've seen around 10-20k each for them... Alternatively you could try to farm out the tradeskill pieces yourself to give to a master potter to try the combine for you. The Skull requires 3 tradeskill drops, 1 from PoDisease blobs, 1 from PoD/CoD puslings, and 1 from CoD Bubonians. The Gavel requires 3 tradeskill drops, 1 from PoJ rockmen (Gralloks), 1 from PoJ Enforcers and 1 from PoJ wurms.


The mobs for the Ceramic Hammer mostly summon, however those for the Skull do not (they are in much more difficult to reach locations however...) But if you can pull em out in PoDisease and kite them around you should be good... it'll be a long farm to get 1 of each piece you need I think though.

Thank you so much. Yeah money is a bit of an issue, and would take a long time farming HG/IC's until I can muster up that cash. I'm at level 59 now, so it should be easier to pull up a group to do this.

I will work on the earring and circlet and slowly work on the ceramic's. I knew I'd have to get those done eventually.

Bone Studded Bracelet from one of the named mobs in The Grey. You could solo this right now, it's just a hassle to get the named to spawn.
Shai`Din Revenant Bauble from the Battlemaster in Chardok.
Fancy Velvet Mantle from the Observer in Chardok.
Girdle of the Bloodfiend from one of the Vamps in the TM Castle. You could definitely solo this in a couple levels.
Sinew Tied Earring from mephits in PoN. You could solo this in a couple levels, it's just tricky getting to the camp.
Honorary Faceplate from one of the undead in PoV. You could also solo this in a couple levels but the named is rare and the drop is sort of rare, too. It's really one of those drops you just sort of luck into while exping and use if you don't have anything better.
Band of the Visionary will drop eventually if you do enough PoV razorfiends groups.

They aren't great items, truth be told, and it'd be tough for your character to pick them up solo. The Girdle you could probably find in the bazaar for cheap, and maybe the bauble too. There's a bunch of PoP stuff available for casters, but most of it is either on mobs that are a hassle to kill (and not killed that often because of it) or relatively trivial for certain groups (and killed constantly).

The Ring of Thunderous Spirits would be good and is usually available pretty cheaply in baz given all the farmers
Also replace the Serpentine Bracer as Burning Affliction is broken so that's pretty pointless for you
You could also start work on the Coldain Shawl if you're into TSin at all
If you can successfully kill the Ice Burrowers in WW and farm some silks you could get a GM Tailor to try and make you some Ice Burrower gear but they'd be pretty tough for you to kill I'd think
Also Ornate would be a natural progression if you can get the pp/groups for it

I've been in fiends group forever, never took out the name in the cave however. Been there since 48, hopefully sometime. Well these are all great items to look out for. Since everything is going to be more buy, I should start working on HG's for a few days or figure out how to kite nightstalkers for gem drops.

There's also the bugs in seb, good farming pp there although at 58 you might be a little low if you're only soloing. You might be able to pull it off though.

^ can definitely FD split bugs at level 58 as a necro.

My advice: FOCUSES > all.
Affliction haste and efficiency, not necessarily in order of ease in obtaining: Falinkan quest, Girdle of Magnificence, Boots of Superiority, Talisman of Evasion, PoP pottery items [ceramic skull of decay, hammer of justice], Wrulon Eye, Sharp Claw Ahlspiess, will do more for you than hp or mana or int. Extended range is rather nice also (Supple Scale Armband), and improved damage eventually.

After focuses, prioritize HP/sta > int/mana > resists > anything else
