Well in Firefox it didn't load completely, so I switched to Safari and more options loaded. But I dont see a play or launch button. Am I being dumb and missing something?

Edit: Yep I was being dumb. I clicked the link from another thread and just noticed this is titled Intel client. Nevermind this post here.

It's LP3 with the LP4 skin. Timelines don't get discussed with me.

Lot of people have machines that are only used for EQ. When you find something that works and runs it acceptably, there's little reason to change anything.

Yea that's what I gauged from it as well. Seems like people really liked tiger or bought a super cheap G4/G5 for $100 bucks.

To clarify...

Why are people using 10.4 on their Intel Macs?

This comes from all the people posting that they have an Intel Mac running 10.4 and complaining that they can't run the Intel client.

Im using the old client and cant log in...im downloading this ink utdaan just gave out right now...hopefully it works...Lron's corpse is about to rot.....

If you want you can pm me your login details and information on where your corpse is located and I'll get it for you. All jokes and my opinion about you aside...... Losing your corpse and all the gear on it really sucks.

It is in ToV enroute to Halls of Testing. =)

In all seriousness...

Petition this and make sure you tell them that this is the EQMac server and that you can no longer log in because of changes to SOE's network and you need your corpse recovered before it rots and causes more work.

Get me a reference # from the petition and I can see if I can get it expedited through my contacts.

I got my corpse, thanks for the kind offers and help btw.

In response to the "Why 10.4 question on an Intel Mac", I am using a first or second gen (i think) iMac, intel on board, but still setup with original OS, 10.4. Never had much cause to use this machine over my PC till Windows took a dive, so the OS remained the same. I had pretty much stopped gaming till I found the EQ i remembered fondly, so I started playing.

I managed to find and dwnld a version of 10.6 though, so gonna see if i can set my USB as a slave and update . I am just thankful Klage is gonna run my toon to Berty raid for flag if I still can't get on. That was my big Nooooooooo! moment, esp since I just got LMM last weekend lol.
